Starting today, and for the rest of the week, we’ll be rolling out a large number of posts about candidates for the LIAs Top 100.
The LIAs Top 100 Live countdown show is to be held in Ghent (Belgium) and on Facebook Live (on 10-14 April 2017), every weekday from 12.00 am to 2.00 pm. Polls open (Wednesday 29 March at 00:00 and close Thursday 30 March at 23:59.)
Update: We are rescheduling the LIAs Top 100 Live Countdown Show to 8-12 May by popular request. The polls will be open on Wednesday 26 April and Thursday 27 April.
The LIAs Top 100 Live is a countdown show in front of a live audience, streamed on Facebook Live and published on YouTube.
The aim of the Language Industry Awards Top 100 Live is to improve the visibility and appeal of the entire language industry, to include all its language professionals as well as the full spectrum of language work.
In 2016 the LIAs received 250,000 visitors on its website alone. This year, we’re expecting over half a million website visitors. Plus, we will stream the whole LIAs Top 100 Live countdown show on Facebook Live. All video material will be published on our YouTube channel after the event. We’ve also put up a Facebook page, which we hope you’ll visit and join by clicking here. You can also follow us on Twitter for latest updates.
There are many ways for you to get involved. You can be a Full Event Partner. You can be seen during the online campaign (website, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). You can be seen during the live countdown show (on stage or as an exhibitor). You can link your name to …. (catering, music, light, etc.). Just about anything’s possible. You can even get involved “for free” (swap and share).
The LIAs are a great way to showcase the language industry as an attractive, dynamic and innovative industry. You can make a contribution and relish the limelight both on the website and during the event.
There’s still time for you to join the spotlight and be seen alongside the best in the language industry.
